Classic snake, on the skin of a snake. The world is a long tube made of cubes, each face cut into squares, with a cap at each end. There are no walls: crawl round the tube, over a cap, back down the other side.
The moment you're 8 long you molt: you dive into your own body, and it becomes the next world, every cell of you a cube, every bend you made a bend in the tube. Each world down you molt one cell longer (9, 10, …), the snake runs a little faster, and food is worth one more point. From level 3 there's more food about, and one more piece every third level.
You have 1:00, and every food adds 10 seconds. The clock stops while you molt.
Arrow keys or WASD, or swipe anywhere (no need to lift between turns). V flips between the tube and the surface unfolded flat.
